1. Scope and who we are
Noble Hands Private Limited (CIN U63122WB2026PTC289275), registered office at Palm Villa, Flat 2A, Mukundapur, Kolkata 700099, West Bengal, India ("Noble Hands", "we", "us") provides in-home senior-care services in Kolkata. For the information covered by this notice, Noble Hands is the Data Fiduciary — we decide why and how the information is used.
This notice applies when you:
- use noblehands.in;
- join our waitlist;
- enquire about care for yourself or a family member;
- express interest in caregiver work; or
- communicate with us by email, WhatsApp, or another channel about any of the above.
A third-party service you choose to use, such as WhatsApp, also applies its own privacy terms to your use of that service.
Please share only what we need. Website forms are not a secure channel for medical records, Aadhaar or other government-ID numbers, bank or card details, passwords, or urgent medical information. In an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service — Noble Hands is not an emergency service.
2. What this notice does not cover
This notice covers enquiry, waitlist, recruitment interest, and website information only.
- If you become a client: the information we handle to actually deliver care — visit records, care observations, health and medication information, updates shared with family, and related records — is governed by our separate Care Services Privacy Notice, which we provide and explain at onboarding before care begins.
- If you join Noble Hands as a caregiver or staff member: information collected during hiring and engagement is governed by our separate Workforce Privacy Notice, provided during onboarding.
You can request a copy of either notice at any time through our contact form.
3. Information we collect
What we collect depends on how you interact with us.
Website and delivery data: IP address, browser and device details, referring page, site activity, spam-prevention signals, and email delivery, bounce, complaint, and opt-out status.
Information about another person
A family member may tell us about a parent or another person who may need care. If you provide someone else's information, please make sure you are authorised to do so and, where appropriate, make that person aware of this notice. We may ask you to confirm your authority before acting on a request concerning them.
Sensitive circumstances
A description of care needs, or a free-text message, can reveal health or family circumstances. We use that information only as needed to understand and respond to your request, assess whether we can help, arrange or improve care, and meet safety or legal responsibilities.
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it.
4. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- reply to questions and discuss appropriate care options;
- assess whether the care needed falls within what Noble Hands can safely provide;
- manage the launch waitlist and send the launch or availability updates you requested;
- review caregiver interest, arrange conversations, and manage recruitment;
- set up, coordinate, provide, support, and improve Noble Hands services;
- operate the website, understand its performance, prevent spam and abuse, and keep our systems reliable;
- send requested, service-related, administrative, or legally required communications;
- analyse enquiry and service information in aggregated or de-identified form to improve how we train caregivers, match them to families, and design our services; and
- keep records, resolve concerns, protect people and property, and comply with applicable law.
Submitting a care enquiry or caregiver-interest form asks us to respond about that request. It does not enrol you in unrelated promotional email. We will ask separately before sending optional marketing that goes beyond what you requested.
The basis on which we use information
We rely on the consent you give when you submit a form or contact us, and on the legitimate uses permitted under applicable Indian law — including using information for the purpose you voluntarily provided it, responding to a medical emergency or a threat to life or safety, and meeting legal obligations. Where we ask for consent, you can withdraw it at any time (see Section 11).
5. Email communications
When you provide an email address, we may use it to respond to your enquiry, follow up on a caregiver application, manage a waitlist request, or send service-related and administrative information. We may use specialist email-delivery providers that process addresses, message content, timestamps, and delivery events only as needed to transmit and protect those communications.
When we contact you
- Enquiries and applications: we send replies and relevant follow-up because you asked us to contact you.
- Waitlist: we send launch or service-availability information only after you specifically join the waitlist.
- Optional marketing: if introduced, it will require a separate affirmative choice and will not be inferred from a care enquiry or job application.
Opt-outs and delivery records
Waitlist and other non-essential emails provide a clear way to opt out. You may also reply with "unsubscribe" or use our contact form. We stop non-essential email to that address and may retain a minimal suppression record so we can honour the choice.
We use delivery, rejection, bounce, and complaint information to troubleshoot messages, remove invalid addresses, suppress addresses that should not receive further mail, and protect our sender reputation. Opting out of non-essential email does not prevent a service reply you specifically request or an essential message about care you receive.
6. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share email lists for another organisation's marketing. We disclose information only as needed for the purposes in this notice, including to providers working for us under our instructions.
| Provider or recipient | Why information is processed |
|---|---|
| Google Forms and Google Sheets | Receive and store waitlist, care-enquiry, contact, and caregiver-interest responses. |
| Google reCAPTCHA | Assess form interactions and technical signals to reduce automated spam and abuse. |
| Google Tag Manager, Google Fonts, and configured measurement tags | Load fonts, operate tags, and help us understand website use and performance. |
| Email delivery providers | Transmit requested communications, report delivery outcomes, prevent abuse, and manage opt-outs or failed messages. |
| WhatsApp / Meta | Handle a conversation only when you choose to message us through WhatsApp, and to operate our business messaging channel. |
| Website hosting and content-delivery providers | Host this website and deliver the browser code used to render and operate it. |
| Professional advisers | Legal, accounting, and compliance advice where reasonably necessary. |
We may also disclose information to authorities, emergency responders, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect a person's life or safety, investigate misuse, establish or defend legal claims, or manage a business reorganisation. Where information is transferred as part of a reorganisation, this notice continues to apply until the recipient provides notice of any change.
We require providers to handle information only for authorised purposes and to apply reasonable safeguards.
7. Cookies and site technology
The site uses Google Tag Manager to manage website tags and Google reCAPTCHA on forms. These services, and tags configured through them, may receive network, browser, device, referral, and page-interaction data, and may use cookies or similar identifiers under their own policies. Google Fonts and our content-delivery provider also receive ordinary request information, such as an IP address and browser details, when their resources load.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser and use browser privacy or tracking controls. Blocking reCAPTCHA or required scripts may stop a form from working; you can reach us on WhatsApp instead.
Because a remote Tag Manager configuration may change independently of this site's code, we review the tags we enable periodically and will update this notice when their privacy impact materially changes.
For details of Google's handling of data across Forms, Sheets, Tag Manager, Fonts, and reCAPTCHA, see the Google Privacy Policy.
8. International processing
Noble Hands operates in India and our services are provided in Kolkata. Some providers named above operate globally and may process information in India or in other countries where they or their sub-processors maintain facilities. Privacy rules differ between countries; where required, we use contractual and other safeguards intended to protect information during such processing.
If you are contacting us from outside India — for example, a family member living abroad arranging care for a parent in Kolkata — your information will be processed in India, and Indian law will govern that processing. Where data-protection law in your country also applies to our handling of your information, we will honour rights available to you under that law to the extent it applies. Use our contact form to exercise them.
9. Retention
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected for. Our standard periods:
| Type of record | How long we keep it |
|---|---|
| Care or contact enquiry that does not become a service | 24 months from last contact |
| Waitlist entry | Until launch and follow-up conclude, or you leave the waitlist, and up to 12 months after |
| Caregiver interest not taken forward | 12 months from last contact, so we can consider you for later openings |
| Communications (email, WhatsApp, call notes) | 24 months from last contact, unless a longer period is needed for a dispute or legal duty |
| Website and delivery data | 14 months |
| Email suppression and opt-out records | Kept in minimal form for as long as needed to honour your choice |
| Records subject to a legal, tax, or dispute-related obligation | For the period required by law |
If you become a client, service records are retained under the Care Services Privacy Notice, which sets its own periods.
We review records and delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably needed. Aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be linked to you may be kept for longer to understand and improve our services.
10. Security and breach notification
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards, including access restrictions on a need-to-know basis, established service providers, and periodic review of who can access what. No website, database, or email transmission is completely secure, so please avoid sending highly sensitive information through an ordinary web form or email.
If a personal data breach affecting your information occurs, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as required by applicable law, and describe what happened, what information was involved, and what steps we and you can take.
11. Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:
- confirm and access — tell you whether we hold personal information about you, and provide a summary of it and of the parties it has been shared with;
- correct, complete, or update inaccurate or incomplete information;
- erase information that is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for, or for which you withdraw consent, unless retention is required by law;
- withdraw consent or leave the waitlist at any time;
- stop optional or non-essential email;
- nominate another person to exercise your rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity; and
- raise a grievance and have it reviewed and resolved.
How to make a request: Use our contact form and begin your message with "Privacy request." This is our single channel for privacy requests and grievances, so that every request is logged and tracked in one place. You may also send the same request through the WhatsApp number published on our contact page.
What happens next: We acknowledge requests within 3 working days and respond substantively within 30 days, or sooner where the law requires. We may need to verify your identity, and your authority where the request concerns another person, before acting. Some information may be retained where law permits or requires it, including a minimal suppression record that prevents unwanted email. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out before the withdrawal, and may mean we can no longer respond to your enquiry or provide a service.
If you are not satisfied: Please raise it with us first, marking your message "Privacy grievance." A director of Noble Hands reviews privacy grievances. If your grievance is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it.
Make a privacy requestSubmit via our contact form marked “Privacy request”, or message us on WhatsApp.
Contact form12. Children and persons who need assistance
Children: This website and our caregiver-interest process are not intended for people under 18. We do not knowingly ask a child to provide personal information through the site, and we do not use children's information for tracking, behavioural monitoring, or targeted advertising. If you believe a child has provided information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can review and delete it where required.
Persons with a guardian: Where an enquiry concerns a senior who has a lawfully appointed guardian, we handle that person's information in accordance with the guardian's instructions and applicable law. Please tell us at the outset if a guardian is appointed.
